Advanced Cell Analysis

Our Advanced Cell Analysis portfolio brings together innovative technologies for observing, quantifying, and understanding cellular behavior with high precision and minimal disruption. These systems allow researchers to study cells in their native environment, providing both morphological and functional data that drive insights in life sciences, drug discovery, and bioprocessing.

Within this category, we offer three complementary approaches:

  • Label-Free Quantitative Imaging (PHI)

Non-invasive imaging systems that enable continuous monitoring of live cells without the need for staining or labeling. Ideal for long-term studies, these solutions deliver quantitative data on cell morphology, proliferation, and health in a completely label-free environment.

  • Brightfield & Fluorescence Imaging (Curiosis)

Versatile imaging platforms combining brightfield microscopy with fluorescence detection for multiparametric analysis. These systems allow researchers to track structural details while simultaneously visualizing labeled targets, providing deeper insights into complex cellular mechanisms.

  • Image-Activated Cell Sorting (IACS) (Sensific)

A single-cell sorting approach that uses real-time microscopic imaging to identify and sort cells or droplets based on detailed visual characteristics such as morphology structure and functional behavior rather than relying only on bulk signals like fluorescence intensity. By combining high-speed imaging microfluidics and automated analysis IACS enables selection of cells with rich phenotypic information at meaningful throughput.

  • Antibody Discovery & Membrane Kinetics (Biosensing Instrument US & DPBio)

Biosensing Instrument’s SPRm technology enables real-time measurement of molecular interactions directly on living cells, offering detailed insight into binding kinetics and receptor–ligand behavior at the membrane level.

DPBio develops advanced microfluidic platforms for high-throughput single-cell analysis and screening. The OMNIdrop system enables precise generation of uniform droplets for assays, cell encapsulation, and reagent mixing, while CytoSpark® leverages droplet microfluidics to encapsulate and analyze millions of single cells simultaneously—accelerating workflows in antibody discovery, enzyme evolution, and functional screening.
