CytoSpark® OMNIdrop

DPBio

OMNIdrop integrates droplet generation, micro-imaging/analysis, and sorting in a single instrument. It supports high-throughput functional screening, targeted single-cell sequencing workflows, and droplet-based digital assays, covering applications from antibody discovery and enzyme evolution to single-molecule quantification.

Features

  • Integrated workflow: generation → analysis → sorting with compatible chips, reagent kits, and software.
  • Broad assay compatibility: magnetic-bead and reporter-cell assays, nucleic-acid/protein fluorescence probes, FRET, and more.
  • High-throughput single-cell sequencing: capture up to ~10⁵ cells per run for deeper maps and rare-subset discovery.
  • Precise, clean sorting: disposable closed sorting chip minimizes maintenance/contamination; logic-gated, co-localized fluorescence sorting with ≥95% accuracy.
  • Instrumentation options: temperature control, 384-well printing, UV sterilization, absorbance detection available as accessories.

Specifications

  • Laser excitation: standard 488 nm; optional 633/405/520 nm
  • Detection channels: dual fluorescence (520/30, 587/37) standard; other filters optional (e.g., 450/50, 620/30, 660/30)
  • Fluorescence sensitivity: ≤10 nM FITC or ≤10 nM PE
  • Droplet generation: 3 pressure control channels; speed 100–5,000 s⁻¹; millions of droplets in ~10 minutes; chip sizes for ~30/50/90 µm droplets; compatible with 1.5/5/15 mL tubes
  • Reading speed: 500–1,500 s⁻¹; sorting speed: 200–1,000 s⁻¹; positives handled: 1–10 million droplets per run
  • Sorting modes: bulk collection; optional 96-well single-cell printing and 8-tube strip collection; sorting accuracy ≥95%
  • Instrument size: 82 × 56 × 50 cm (OMNIdrop unit)
