The geneMAP™ BRCA1&2 Founder Mutations Detection Kit is an Allele Specific Realtime PCR (Aso-Realtime PCR) assay desig- ned to detect 8 mutations in the BRCA1 gene and 1 mutation in the BRCA2 gene in the genomic DNA of blood or buccal swab samples. The kit detects 4153delA, 185delAG, 2080delA, 300 T>G (Cys61Gly), 5382insC, 3819delGTAAA, 3875delGTCT mutati- ons in BRCA1 gene and 6174delT mutation in BRCA2 gene.
