We’re excited to introduce HoloMonitor, a brand of Altium — an advanced solution for continuous live-cell imaging and quantitative cell analysis.
HoloMonitor uses non-invasive digital holography to enable long-term monitoring of living cell cultures without fluorescent labels, stains or other procedures that could interfere with the cells or affect experimental results. Its compact microscope operates directly inside a standard CO₂ incubator, helping maintain stable and physiologically relevant conditions throughout the experiment.
Through automated time-lapse imaging, researchers can monitor and quantify cell proliferation, migration, morphology and motility in real time — both at the cell population level and down to individual cells. The system supports a wide range of applications, including cell culture monitoring, dose-response studies, wound-healing assays and cell quality analysis.
Because cells remain alive and undisturbed during imaging, they can be used in subsequent experiments. This allows researchers to obtain multiple types of quantitative data from a single experiment and gain a more complete understanding of how their cells change over time.
