Altium International recently hosted a Lunch & Learn at Fox Chase Cancer Center, bringing together researchers to explore advances in precision single-cell manipulation.
During the event, Dr. Tobias Beyer presented the FluidFM OMNIUM Platform by Cytosurge and the CellEDIT Service, highlighting applications such as live-cell sequencing, targeted CRISPR delivery, and gentle single-cell isolation.
FluidFM combines the precision of atomic force microscopy with microfluidics, enabling researchers to manipulate, inject, extract, and isolate individual living cells with high accuracy. This minimally invasive technology supports targeted experiments at the single-cell level while helping preserve cell viability for further analysis.
Barrie Rogers, B.S., represented Altium International and connected with researchers throughout the event.
We would like to thank Manna Ahmed, MD, Yu (Sunny) L., Johnathan Whetstine, and the teams at Fox Chase Cancer Center for their support in organizing the event. We also thank all attendees for their participation, thoughtful questions, and valuable contributions to the discussion.
