In connection with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, known as the GDPR, and with Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the Processing of Personal Data, we would like to inform you how and why Altium International s.r.o. processes personal data as a controller.
1. Altium International s.r.o., with its registered office at Na Jetelce 69/2, Prague 9, 190 00, Company ID (IČ) 25791079, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 70568, since 24 August 1999, processes the following personal data of its customers:

- organization name
- address or registered office
- Company ID / VAT ID (IČ/DIČ)

2. We process this data in accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation, in particular the GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the Processing of Personal Data.
3. We process personal data that you have provided to us, on the basis of a contract that we have concluded or are about to conclude with you, or on the basis of a legal regulation that directly requires or permits such processing, or on the basis of consent, if you have granted it to us for the given purpose, or on the basis of a legitimate interest in operating our business and developing our services.
4. Personal data collected on the basis of your consent on the Altium.net (or on https://cz.eshop.altium.net/ ) will be used to operate the Altium.net website (or on https://cz.eshop.altium.net/ ) and to provide the services or products you have requested or to which you have given your consent. If you have given your consent to receive commercial communications and newsletters from Altium International s.r.o., — i.e. invitations to conferences, invitations to seminars, product news, events, discounts, and Agilent Technologies news and products, or other companies wchich we distributed— your personal data will be used for these purposes.
5. Personal data will be processed by Altium International s.r.o. for the period necessary to fulfill all obligations arising from the contract, and further for the period during which we, as the controller, are required to retain personal data under generally binding legal regulations, or for the period for which you have granted us consent to the processing. We will retain most personal data for the duration of the contract and also for 10 years from the following calendar year after the performance was provided, for tax and accounting reasons. In other cases, the processing period follows from the purpose of the processing or is set by legal regulations in the field of personal data protection.
6. We transfer personal data to third parties only within the scope of the points listed above, namely to companies with which we have concluded a personal data processing agreement, or to public authorities. These may in particular be manufacturers of the products we distribute, shipping companies, auditors, and attorneys. As we are an authorized distributor of Agilent Technologies, on the basis of a legitimate interest we may transfer your personal data to this company for internal administrative purposes. All personal data is transferred exclusively within the European Union and is not transferred to third countries outside the EU/EEA. All personal data is processed in a lawful and transparent manner, and only adequate, relevant, and necessary data is transferred in relation to the given purpose of processing. When transferring personal data, we use contractual provisions and implement security mechanisms to protect all data while acting in accordance with our standards.
