geneMAP™ FLT3 ITD/D835Y Mutation Detection Kit
Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) is the most common form of leukemia in adults and FLT3 activating mutations are expected to be present in 1 in 3 people diagnosed with AML. The presence of FLT3 activating mutations in AML indicates a poor prognosis and some treatment regimens and targeted drug trials are only accessible to patients positive for the mutation.
