geneMAP™ MTHFR C677T Mutation Detection Kit
The geneMAP™ MTHFR C677T Mutation Detection Kit is a rapid and accurate real-time PCR assay for the detection of the 677C>T mutation in the methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) gene. This mutation is associated with reduced enzyme activity leading to hyperhomocysteinemia and toxic side effects of methotrexate treatment. The kit is designed to identify patients predisposed to develop cardiovascular diseases or intolerance to methotrexate.
